Selling My Shares
The terms of the lease provide for the purchaser to sell their share in the property at any time. MHA must give their consent before any sale can be completed.
To continue to meet our objectives from the scheme, we have the right to nominate a new purchaser from our waiting lists wherever possible.
The price will be an open market value determined by an independent valuer, and the costs of the valuation will be the responsibility of the seller.
You will have to pay the Association’s legal fees for arranging the sale. MHA can tell you the amount of the fees before you sell.
In the event that you wish to sell or buy further shares in your home you must contact Manningham Housing Association in writing prior to process and ensure that rent and services charges are up to date.
